What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Stillwater Hospice, formerly Visiting Nurse provides compassion, comfort and guidance through life's journey by providing palliative and hospice care, plus grief support, to residents in an 11-county region of Northeast Indiana. Since our beginnings in 1888, we have sought to alleviate suffering and provide compassionate care to those facing life-limiting illnesses. As a community-based non-profit, we care for anyone, regardless of their ability to pay for services. Annually, we provide more than $250,000 in charity care for those with no other resources.
