Mission

The Hope Community Center, Inc., is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the community of Northwest Mississippi by providing safe activities and events for the area’s youth. Combining a much-needed after-school and weekend program with various activities for citizens of all ages, the Hope Center will infuse the culture of DeSoto County with optimism and a more positive community.

Community Outreach Events

The Hope Center hosts free community outreach events that target at-risk youth in grades 5-7. These events provide group activities, team building activities, group and individual mentoring, teaching citizenship, and social responsibility. We provide music, games, free food, and snacks, along with free Hope Center merchandise. We also have special guest speakers to encourage and speak life to our students. These events are four hours and take place once a month on a Saturday.
