*On-site and in-home individual, couples, pre-marital, group and family systems therapy - designed to enhance the functioning of families and their support systems is provided by caring and competent staff. Our theraputic services consists of comprehensive assessment and treatment planning, family genograms & life timeline analysis, and computer aided diagnostics. *The Family Strengthening Program - Targets elementary school children (ages 6-12) with a special component geared toward high school students (ages 13-17). This 14-week school-based program offers children and their parents the opportunity to learn and practice new behaviors in order to enhance appropriate parenting, increase interpersonal relationships and experience the impact of appropriate child discipline. *Life Coaching - Offers participants the opportunity to discover what they want in life and unlock their brilliance in the achievement of their life goals. This is accomplished through solution-focused individual guidance and counseling (as needed). This approach in turn fosters a therapeutic relationship between the life coach and the participant, and encourages a more empowered client . *Women's Empowerment - Designed to assist women of various ages to identify their potential and to build on their strengths. This group allows women to come together once a week and enjoy "time out" from the hectic pace needed for everyday life. The group allows discussion of issues such as depression, grief and loss, nutrition, domestic violence, parenting, relationship building etc. *Teen Abstinence - An 8 session program, this is conducted with community youth in an attempt to convey the values of a sexual abstinence commitment. This method encourages youth (both positively and dynamically), to sbtain from sexual activity as an act of self-respect. Group sessions are facilitated to explore connections between healthy choices and reserving sexual expression until marriage. The curriculum incorporates the use of role plays, videos and education on STDs, as well as real-life couples being invited in to explain the struggles of unplanned pregnancy. *Bilingual Services - At any given time, at least 50% of our clientele are of Latino/Hispanic descent. We are committed to providing culturally sensitive and bilingual individual, couples/marital, family systems and group therapy. Our bicultural staff are well-trained clinicians, who possess a caregiver's spirit.
