Mission

Fire Family Foundation provides support and financial assistance to firefighters and their families in times of need throughout the United States of America. Founded in 2008 by Firefighters First Credit Union, the Fire Family Foundation fulfills its mission through four core programs: providing financial assistance to firefighters and their families; awarding college scholarships to the children of firefighters; providing disaster relief to firefighters whose homes are damaged or destroyed in a federally declared disaster; and granting funds to fire charities.

This aid comes in the form of a gift card and a package with comfort supplies including a blanket and toiletries, which will support the fire family in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.
