General Overview

Beverly Farm Foundation's mission continues to encourage personal achievement for individuals and offers a variety of programs to encourage learning and self-sufficiency; occupational and physical therapy; lifeskills training; a variety of paid work opportunities, a therapeutic horsemanship program; sensory stimulation programs; a heated, accessible pool; and a gym that offers adaptive exercise equipment, opportunities to play basketball, roller skating, volleyball, and a sound-equipped stage for performances. Beverly Farm offers "transitional" living accommodations to individuals who choose to live here. This includes three distinct living arrangements and various levels of assistance to residents. There are ten cottages on the main campus that provide homes to individuals needing moderate to maximum assistance. Six group homes provide individuals with various levels of assistance, based on individual needs. An apartment complex provides living arrangements with intermittent support and assistance, as needed.

The Equestrian Center offers a full-service horse boarding stable, and opportunities for both therapeutic and community riding programs. The horses used in the Equestrian Therapy Program are trained to accept all calibers of riders safely. One of only a handful of therapeutic equestrian facilities in the region, the Equestrian Therapy Program makes Beverly Farm truly unique.
