Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The Marquette County Historical Society aims to educate the community about how important it is to preserve history for future generations and to get younger generations excited about preserving history.

The Marquette County Historical Society's include offering programs that appeal to youth and families so that a family can get excited about history together. We also plan on showcasing a variety special exhibits that appeal to all ages and backgrounds.

Our facility's gathering space allows us provide space for displays, seating and easy mobility during programs and events. Our exhibit galleries are spacious and allow us to display items from our collection and to also display artifacts from community members for our special exhibits.

We have accomplished getting individuals from all over the Upper Peninsula to attend events and programs. We are still trying to establish a plan to attract the attention of those under the age of fifty years old to attend programs and get those individuals excited about preserving history.
