GOLDEN RETRIEVER RESCUE OF WISCONSIN
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
To continue to have the funds to support the dogs that are coming in. Many are coming in with medical or behavioral needs that need to be addressed.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Dog Rescue
The majority of our expenses are for the vet care, prescription food, grooming, medications, spay/neuter and sometimes boarding of the Goldens surrendered to us. We have a special needs fund for dogs that need significant medical care such as orthopedic surgeries, cancer surgery, seizure medications, etc.
Vet Expenses
GRRoW pays for the medical expenses of Golden Retrievers while they're in foster care with the average cost being $1,000. GRRoW relies on donations and our fundraising efforts to cover these costs.
Our dogs live in foster homes while their medical and other expenses are being taken care of.
