To provide toy-filled birthday gift bags to 150,000 less fortunate children in 2013.

1. Provide birthday gift bags for more than 150,000 children in 2013
A. Maintain existing on-going Corporate Teams and increase the number of new corporate team events to produce 18,000 birthday bags
B. Maximize Community Groups to produce 12,000 birthday bags
C. Expand Sponsored Organization Groups (special education students) to provide 120,000 birthday bags

2. Increase the number of volunteer hours by 10%
A. Post all volunteer opportunities on at least three websites
B. Participate in major volunteer fairs
C. Provide volunteer opportunity information in e-newsletters

3. Develop and maintain a core group of committed volunteers
A. Provide feedback and consistent communication
B. Reinforce involvement through volunteer recognition

4. Obtain $900,000 of in-kind products and services
A. Expand relationships with current suppliers and partners
B. Develop new sources of ongoing in-kind donations
5. Raise $220,300 cash income
A. Secure $40,000 in grants from Foundations
B. Obtain corporate contributions of $100,000
C. Expand the number of individual donors to provide $80,300

To achieve these objectives Cheerful Givers Board of Directors provides direction and assistance in key areas. All board members currently participate in at least one committee role (Governance, Development, or Communication). It is the responsibility of our President, who has supported the organization in a full-time capacity for more than ten years, to oversee the operation of the organization, implement the business plan, manage financial resources and advise the board.

Our core group of volunteers serve various roles. Key volunteer positions include Volunteer Manager and In-kind Coordinator. Each of these volunteers have committed approximately 20 hours per week to supporting our organization. In addition we have teams of volunteers including Event Planning Team, Researchers, Writers and Project Assistants.

As of November 1, 2013, we have served 125,368 children by providing a birthday bag to each.
