Dr. Elizabeth Claus
Since 2004, Meningioma Mommas has continued to fund Dr. Elizabeth Claus' ongoing epidemiology of meningoma research. We have donated $85,000 to date to Dr. Claus.
UCSF Meningioma Lab/Dr. Michael McDermott
Meningioma Mommas donated $65, 000 to the UCSF Meningioma Lab to fund the "Meningioma Translational Research Program." The primary objective of the Meningioma Research Laboratory at UCSF is to elucidate the genetic changes underlying the development and malignant progression of meningiomas with the eventual goal of translating this knowledge into novel therapeutic strategies.

Funding Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Meningiomas to better understand new treatment options and prolong the lives of patients affected by aggressive and atypical meningiomas.

We collaborate with researchers dedicated to meningioma specific research to fund their work.

Members, their families and caregiving network donate to support Meningioma Mommas in order to fund meningioma research grants.

Meningioma Mommas has donated $262,952 to fund research supporting Dr. Elizabeth Claus (YALE), Dr. Michael McDermott (UCSF), Dr. Gregory Riggins & Dr. Gilson Baia (JOHNS HOPKINS), Dr. John Lee (UPENN), Dr. Daniel Kelly & Dr. Garni Barkhoudarian (John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John’s Health Center), Dr. Randy Jensen (University of Utah) & Dr. Long-Sheng Chang (Ohio State Univ.) and Dr. Albert Kim (Washington University in St. Louis).
