What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Our first goal is to insure newborns have the needed essentials for the first few weeks of life. Many times mothers go home with a few diapers and a blanket from the hospital, but do not have additional material support. We bridge the first few days/weeks as emergency supplies to be sure the baby is warm, clean and has a safe place to sleep. Usually once the mother goes home, she them turns to social service groups for added support.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goal is to place chapters is all states, and communities to address the needs of the at-risk infant to insure a healthy and safe start in life.

We identify areas of the country where poverty is the norm, and reach out to contacts to start up new chapters using various methods of recruting including word of mouth, social media and targeted campaigns.

95% of our funding goes to programs and services which is well above the norm. We have a model where we are able to use our donor money wisely, and focus on the infant. Long term we will need to create a more permanent office and warehouse location to manage from a strategic level, but for the foreseeable future we are able to manage due to the autonomous nature of our chapters.

We have reached our first goal of serving over 20,000 babies, and have a stretch goal of 28,000 in 2023. We were slowed by Covid, but are gaining traction again.
