Mission

The Mission of the Florida Shakespeare Theater is to promote Literacy and appreciation of the Arts through free performances of the work of William Shakespeare. By providing educational opportunities, professional actor training and free performances for the public, we hope to encourage a new generation of citizens to participate in and become engaged with South Florida's rich cultural life.

Shakespeare in the Park

Every year Shakespeare Miami produces a free Shakespeare in the Park event. This event is held out of doors, in amphitheatres, parks and also in non traditional performance spaces in order to draw audience members unused or unable to attend theatrical performances in traditional theater settings.
