Mission

The Shoreline Village CT is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The activities to be conducted and the purposes to be promoted or carried out by the Corporation shall include providing information and services, sponsoring educational and recreational activities, fostering a strong sense of community, and any other services or activity so that residents of the eastern shoreline of Connecticut and nearby areas can live their lives to the fullest, as they grow older, in their own homes.

Health and Wellness

Within this Program category, the Shoreline Village CT has 2 initiatives:1. Collaboration with VNA Community Healthcare where seniors are registered with the VNA and share their primary medical information. Member is then eligible to call the 24 hour a day/7 day a week medical hotline for advice from a nurse manager. A designated nurse manager has been assigned to the program from the VNA.2. Senior Safety program for senors in Branford and Guilford

Population(s) Served

This program is part of the essential mission of the Shoreline Village. We currently serve 100+ members, volunteers, and donors in multiple ways from transportation to opera tickets to computer services at home.  We hope to expand both our membership and service area over the coming year.
