INTERNATIONAL SWAMINARAYAN SANSTHAN OF VADTAL INC

The Corporation is organized for the advancement and propagation of the Swaminarayan Sect of the Hindu Religion based on the teachings and principles of Lord Shree Salhajanand Swami which are set forth in Shikshapatri written by Lord Shree Sahajanand Swami Himself. Those principles are propagated and enunciated through two dioceses instituted by Lord Swaminarayan at Vadtal and Ahmedabad in the Gujarat state of India. The Corporation shall be related spiritually to the diocese at Vadtal in the Gujarat state of India (herein called Laxminarayandev Gadi ).

The primary purpose and mission of this Corporation is to keep unity and uniform activities among local chapters in North America, under the name of Shree Swaminarayan Satsang Mandal affiliated with the Laxminarayandev Gadi, under the leadership of reigning Acharya Maharaj of Vadtal diocese, so that such organizations stay spiritually connected to Vadtal Sansthan ancl the Laxminarayandev Gadi.

The Corporation is organized also to preserve and practice the cultural heritage of Sanatan Dharma among the Indian community and the communities at large and exchange the ideas and ideals among religious institutions of various faiths. The Corporation will promote religious, educational, and philanthropical activities in North America and India for the betterment of all involved, and help non-profit organizations get organized and assist in the building of local temples for member organizations throughout North America. The Corporation will promote Swaminarayan religion as well as Hindu spiritual literatures by translating into English, promoting Murtis and other replicas sanctioned by Laxminarayandev Gadi, pictures of the various temples and video recording of events in India and elsewhere relating 1to visits and discourses by H.H. 1008 reigning Acharya Maharajshree and leading saints and shall make items available to its member organizations. The Corporation shall gather resources by means of fund raising events, collecting donations and membership fees from member chapters in North America in order to accomplish the aforementioned purposes.

The organization continues to grow and with the help of hundreds of volunteers around the country continues to perform religious and cultural activities at its member chapters. Since the founding of the organization, two of our member chapters have successfully implemented and expansion program to their facility and one of chapter members has successfully acquired a property where they will in the near future start performing regular religious discourses and celebrate festivals.
With the support of the devotees we continue to progress towards our goals and strategize with our capabilities in doing more for our chapter members.
