Mission

FOR OUR COUNTRY, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES. SPECIFICALLY, THIS ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN FORMED TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON SUBJECTS USEFUL TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY, AND TO PROVIDE RELIEF TO THE POOR, DISTRESSED AND UNDERPRIVILEGED. OUR ORGANIZATION HAS DESIGNED AND DEVELOPED TWO (2) PROGRAMS IN FURTHERANCE OF OUR PURPOSES. FOR OUR COUNTRY IS FOCUSED ON HELPING AMERICAN VETERANS WHO HAVE BEEN WOUNDED, OR ARE IN NEED, THROUGH MUSIC AND THEIR OWN STORIES. WE WILL TURN THESE VETERANS' STORIES INTO SONGS WHICH WE WILL THEN RECORD AND CREATE MUSICAL CDS WITH. THE VETERANS WILL BE INVOLVED IN THE WRITING AND RECORDING PROCESS. WE WILL PROVIDE HELP FROM ESTABLISHED SONGWRITERS WHO WILL DONATE THEIR TIME TO HELP THE VETERANS TURN THEIR STORIES INTO SONGS. WE WILL THEN HAVE MAJOR ARTISTS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY SING AND PERFORM ON THE SONGS AND ALBUMS, THUS RAISING THE AWARENESS.

Program 1

FOR OUR COUNTRY SPENT THE ENTIRETY OF 2013 DEVELOPING RELATIONSHIPS, RAISING AWARENESS, AND COLLECTING SUBMISSIONS FROM VETERANS. THIS IS A MULTI-YEAR PROCESS TO SEE THE ULTIMATE SUCCESS OF THE PROGRAM. WE ACHIEVED MOST OF OUR GOALS THAT WERE SET OUT IN THE BEGINNING OF 2013- -SUBSTANTIAL AND INTERACTIVE WEBSITE WAS DEVELOPED AND SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED, WHICH INCLUDED A SECTION FOR VETERANS TO SUBMIT MATERIAL FOR CONSIDERATION IN THE PROGRAM. -MANY VETERANS WERE MADE AWARE OF THE PROGRAM VIA THE INTERNET, DIRECT OUTREACH THROUGH MILITARY CONTACTS, AS WELL AS WORD OF MOUTH. -MANY VETERANS SUBMITTED SONGS, POEMS, AND LETTERS WHICH HAVE BEEN ARCHIVED AND WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR INCLUSION IN THE PROGRAM. -A PSA FOR THE PROGRAM WAS PRODUCED PREVIOUSLY, WITH FORMER RCA RECORDING ARTIST CHUCK WICKS, AND WAS INTEGRATED IN TO THE WEBSITE. WE SUCCESSFULLY NEGOTIATED THE PSA'S AIRING ON THE PENTAGON CHANNEL, AS WELL AS THE ARMED FORCES RADIO AND TELEVISION NETWORK (AFRTN), ON US MILITARY INSTALLATIONS WORLDWIDE. -ESTABLISHED CONTACT WITH AN OFFICER AT THE HEADQUARTERS COMMAND OF MORAL, WELFARE, AND RECREATION (MWR), US ARMY AND US AIR FORCE. OUR PROGRAM WAS GIVEN FORWARD MOMENTUM TOWARDS BASE PERFORMANCES AND FUTURE PERFORMANCES. OUR PRESIDENT MADE A SUCCESSFUL TRIP TO FORT SAM HOUSTON TO DISCUSS DETAILS IN PERSON. THROUGH THESE MEETINGS, AND VERBAL AGREEMENT WAS REACHED, TO STOCK OUR ALBUMS, ONCE COMPLETED, IN ALL AAFES/POST EXCHANGES, WORLDWIDE. -CONTACT WITH, NEGOTIATIONS CONDUCTED AND AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE REACHED AND DEAL MEMO PRESENTED FROM CMT(CMT PURE) A VIACOM COMPANY, TO FOR OUR COUNTRY FOR THE PURPOSE OF AIRING A DOCUMENTARY OF THE "MAKING OF" OUR PROGRAM. -CONTACT WITH, NEGOTIATIONS CONDUCTED AND AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH MAJOR NATIONAL TRUCKING COMPANY, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPORTING OUR DEVELOPING AWARENESS TOUR AND OUR PROGRAM. -DEVELOPED AND ESTABLISHED PLAN FOR NATIONAL TOUR OF US MILITARY BASES THROUGHOUT THE EAST, MID-WEST, AND WEST. THIS INCLUDED ALL ROUTING, STAGING, PRODUCTION, INTERVIEWED WITH TOUR MANAGERS, EVENT PLANNING, SECURITY, RESEARCH OF LICENSES, TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS, BEGAN INTERFACING WITH MWR LIAISONS AT MILITARY INSTALLATIONS TO COVER SPECIFIC RULES AND REGULATIONS PER BASE, BEGAN SEARCH FOR CORPORATE SPONSORS TO HELP WITH LODGING, ELECTRICAL, AND FOOD AND BEVERAGES. -PROGRAM DEVELOPED, AND LAUNCHED, AT FORT SAM HOUSTON CALLED "MUSIC WELLNESS FOR OUR COUNTRY". THIS PROGRAM FOCUSES ON OUR MISSION OF HELPING OUR WOUNDED VETERANS THROUGH MUSIC. SPECIFICALLY, VETERANS WHO HAVE SUFFERED TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURIES (TBI). DURING THE FIRST ROUND OF CLASS PROGRAM ACTIVITIES, MILITARY PERSONAL WITH TBIS SUCCESSFULLY PARTICIPATED AND GAINED GREAT VALUE THROUGH THE USE OF INTEGRATED MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS WHICH FOCUS ON MEMORY RETENTION AND REPLICATION. OUR LONGTERM GOAL PLANS OF HAVING A MUSIC WELLNESS FOR OUR COUNTRY ON OR NEAR EVERY MAJOR MILITARY INSTALLATION WERE ALSO SUCCESSFULLY DEVELOPED FOR FUTURE USE. -NEGOTIATED AND SECURED THE DONATION OF 12 GUITARS WHICH WILL BE USED TO RAISE AWARENESS DURING FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES. -SECURED SIGNATURES ON THE GUITARS BY SOME OF TODAYS TOP COUNTRY ARTISTS. -ENGAGED IN A SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISER IN CHICAGO, IL, PUT ON BY ANOTHER ORGANIZATION TO HELP RAISE AWARENESS FOR OUR PROGRAM. WE SUCCESSFULLY AUCTIONED OFF ONE OF THE GUITARS SIGNED BY A MAJOR COUNTRY ARTIST. -ESTABLISHED CONTACT, AND BEGAN EARLY STAGES OF TALKS, WITH THE COMMANDER OF THE US ARMY RECRUITING COMMAND. -BEGAN RECORDING PRE-PRODUCTION, DEVELOPMENT, AND PRODUCTION OF SONGS TO BE PRESENTED TO MAJOR ARTISTS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FOR POSSIBLE INVOLVEMENT WITH OUR PROGRAM. -CONDUCTED SUCCESSFUL RADIO INTERVIEW ABOUT OUR PROGRAM WITH ON-AIR PERSONALITY BASED IN ATLANTA, GA. -SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED SERIES OF TRIATHLONS TO RAISE AWARENESS, AND GAIN SUPPORTERS, FOR OUR PROGRAM. -ACTIVELY AND SUCCESSFULLY INTERACTED WITH VETERANS IN THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM, MAIN HOSPITAL LOCATED IN NASHVILLE, TN, TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR OUR PROGRAM AND ENCOURAGE VETERANS TO SUBMIT STORIES AND SONGS FOR CONSIDERATION IN OUR PROGRAM.
