What we aim to solve

Compassionate community center that is designed to not only identify the needs of the community but to address the issues. Our process begins with helping each client that we come across with the setting and achieving of self-defined goals. We transform lives by providing quality services to those with limited access to coaching and mentoring resources. We help our clients recognize and build on their strengths, explore their current reality, and find positive ways to make changes and move forward. We strive to be an instrument in helping every client to develop a fresh perspective on each situation they are facing supporting them to explore a range of options. Finally, we help clients define and discover their paths to success. It takes on a holistic approach to address the concerns and needs of the whole person.

SelfActualizeMe, Inc.

SelfActualizeMe, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has one goal; we strive to help each person reach their highest potential. The specific purpose of this organization is to provide support to as many as individuals as possible. Therefore we have an active community and online presence. It is our passion to promote and foster the development of young adults and adults in achieving their highest potential, and we believe that the only way to do this is to expand the traditional view of a community center. With the costs of overhead steadily rising, we pride ourselves with placing funds that we raise not in infrastructure but actual programming. Most donations get lost in the running and sustainability of an organization, but with a project focus, we can take those funds and put them directly where they are needed the most, in the community.

Our process begins with helping each client that we come across with the setting and achieving of self-defined goals. We transform lives by providing quality services in communities where stigma or poverty limits access to natural supports and resources. In our Living With Intention Online Community, we can help clients build on their strengths, explore their current reality, and find positive ways to make changes to move forward. They can develop a fresh perspective on each situation they are facing, and we support them to explore a range of options. We help all actualizers, and intention setters discover their paths to success while taking on a holistic approach to address their concerns and needs.

Our Compassionate community center uses compassion to help our youth and families become resilient. We are committed to creating strong partnerships in the community to help raise the awareness and importance of community events and a celebration of community. Therefore we support local organizations such as the Caye Festival, Alexandria House, and local schools to help children and young adults thrive in their community.

Our community center is the change we envision for the community. We envision a community working together for a common cause and pride ourselves in uplifting and encouraging our community to be active. We keep our organization project focused so that we are able to do multiple projects throughout the year to have the biggest impact. We do fundraising and we get people in our community involved to help with projects so that it changes the way the community thinks about larger problems. We have successfully impacted over 2000 people in the LA county area and we are ready to keep going through our workshops, our backpack and school supply drive and homeless drive. We have conversations with the community about their needs instead of deciding what works and that makes all the difference.

We have continue to impact hundreds of individuals and families and we will continue to do the work; Each year we assess what works and what needs to change. We don't rely on grants to keep our work going; we reach out to the communities to help and get involved to make the biggest impact. That is how we have been able to sustain an organization for over 7 years.
