Engage Global

Engage Global is committed to partnering with churches to extend God’s glory among all nations—with a focus on reaching people groups or religious blocs that have yet to receive the gospel.

Our goal is to help churches: 1) Expand their global vision; 2) Establish a global strategy; 3) Equip global advocates within their church body; and 4) Engage in global church planting to extend God’s Glory

Engage Global leads high school, college, and adult groups through weeklong and extended weekend EXPLORE Trips—to help groups discover God’s heart for the world, the remaining task for making disciples of all nations, and practical ways to live as Christians who are engaged in God’s Global mission.

Each EXPLORE Trip involves extensive teaching from God’s Word; group prayer and discussions; cultural learning activities; and exposure activities in the community.

During teaching sessions and group discussions, participants study God’s global thread throughout Scripture (from Genesis to Revelation), with a focus on understanding God’s Word, God’s World, and God’s Work. Groups also learn about major religions, belief systems, and practices throughout the world; and how to be cultural learners through simulation activities in class, and through interactions with different culture and language groups at local markets.

Participants then have the opportunity to explore their roles in making God’s glory known among the unreached, both locally and globally. Groups discuss the different roles of 1) Welcomer; 2) Sender; 3) Intercessor; 4) Mobilizer; and 5) Goer, and learn about the different organizations involved in each of these areas.

By the end of each EXPLORE Trip, we hope to help each individual and group develop a greater understanding of God’s purpose and work in the world, and to consider their unique roles in extending His glory among the unreached and least reached people groups.
