What we aim to solve
The Coventry Foundation seeks to become North America's major repository of Jaguar automotive historical information and examples of all models. The ultimate goal is to make our collections widely available through digital information sources, through interactive displays, and through ongoing educational programs. As with all non profits there is always a project or goal that requires funding.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The Coventry Foundation seeks to become North America's major repository of Jaguar automotive historical information and examples of all models. The ultimate goal is to make our collections widely available through digital information sources, through interactive displays, and through ongoing educational programs.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
1. A scholarship has endowed at Penn Technical College to aid in the education of students in the fields of automotive restoration, preservation, and allied trades. The program is in its third year.
2. Students have been hired on a part time basis to digitize our massive historical data into an easily accessible and universally available format.
3. We hold the world's largest and most complete tool special tool collection and is currently available to all members of the Jaguar Clubs of North America and Foundation patrons.
4. We have already had many very desirable Jaguar automobiles donated to our collection with more to come in the future. Some are on display in a museum setting in Virginia. The others are maintained and in storage waiting for a more expansive and suitable facility.
5. AN extensive library of original books and documents have been collected and organized along with a massive collection of art and model cars==All Jaguar or Jaguar related.
6. We have applied for a $100,000 Federal Grant to digitize our collection and make them accessible to researchers via the internet or in person.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The Foundation has recently assimilated the British Sports Car Hall of Fame. This has expanded our audience greatly and will be a secondary source of funding for the Foundation. It is housed and maintained in Virginia.
As said we have a large library established in South Carolina. The majority of all materials are stored in the South Carolina location. Further through agreement the historical records of the Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) are maintained in South Carolina.
The Foundation has opened a second library on the west coast in California as well as a second set of tools to reduce cost of shipping as well as time for members in that area.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
In the short seven years from an 'idea' , through establishing it as a 501c3 with all administrative structure to support the foundation through the next generation , the Foundation has grown at a rapid pace. Our collections are world class and second to none. Our support to student education while not unique is at a higher level than other similar automotive groups.
Reaching out with our continually growing resources to support the Jaguar and British automotive community in keeping great cars on the road and preserving history. We want to make sure this vast amount of knowledge is available to the enthusiast as well as scholars and historians. Our vision includes a large museum and library to house our donated treasures as well as serving a center for the larger Jaguar community. We want to delight generations to come with the beauty and elegance of these magnificent machines that have graced the roads from the dawn of the automotive era.
