What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
School Supply Program
We received donation money & or grants and help supplement kids and family's to ease the burden of the expense of school supplies. Plus if children have what they need it can benefit them in their learning.
Halloween Carnival
An event that any age can come and experience the old fashioned fun and games such as the fish pond and cake walk. Very inexpensive event, so all can enjoy, with an opportunity for a safe and exciting time.
Holiday Turkey Distributions
Using donations and discounts we purchase turkeys and do a drive through style and distribute to help all families in our little community enjoy a special meal in November and December.
Easter Egg Dash
Children and families come together for a community celebration. Families enjoy a pancake breakfast, dashing for easter eggs, and other fun games and activities.
"Rock the Holiday" Programs
We adopt Angels without using income guidelines, find homes for them, get donations and help with the gifts by providing hygiene products and food boxes with snacks and a turkey meal. We also take presents and hot meals to our seniors through our Golden Angel Program. Last we have a community celebration every December where children can sit on Santa's lap, sing Christmas carols, eat s'mores, and get free hats and gloves.
Youth Enrichment Services
This is a youth based program that helps our youth grow and explore in a safe and supportive environment. It includes a number of programs including; hangout 10-12 and 13-18, skills classes 6-18, and art classes 6-18
Adult Art Classes
Meet once a month for adult art classes that range in topic and medium.
Music Program
Emphasis on 1:1 guitar lessons for children and youth, but growing into general music lessons for all ages
Children and Youth Food Programs
Working with the school and food programs, ROCK helps distribute a daily school snack, a weekend backpack program, weekend breakfasts, and summer lunches to students and local children and youth.
Monthly Food Distrubutions
Monthly drive-through food distributions - target low-income families. Boxes are balanced and nutritious.

- We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
- We employ non-traditional ways of gathering feedback on programs and trainings, which may include interviews, roundtables, and external reviews with/by community stakeholders.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
