RIVERWALK ACADEMY SERVES A DIVERSE STUDENT BODY OF OVER 676 PUPILS SPANNING GRADES K THROUGH 12. THESE STUDENTS HAIL FROM SEVEN DIFFERENT SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND FOUR DISTINCT COUNTIES.AT RIVERWALK, WE EMBRACE A PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MODEL WHERE INSTRUCTION IS DRIVEN BY THE STUDENTS' INQUIRIES AND INTERESTS. OUR EDUCATIONAL APPROACH INCLUDES A VARIETY OF INSTRUCTIONAL SETTINGS, FROM SMALL GROUP SESSIONS TO WHOLE GRADE-LEVEL GATHERINGS. THIS ALLOWS OUR STUDENTS TO ENGAGE IN PROJECTS THAT NOT ONLY ENHANCE THEIR CLASSROOM LEARNING BUT ALSO CONTRIBUTE POSITIVELY TO THE WIDER SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENTS.
