Mission

Kenos Animal Sanctuary serves the animal kingdom to reduce suffering in the animal world and advocate humane behavior through providing rescue, rehabilitation and sanctuary to abandoned, neglected and abused cats, dogs and all animal creatures. We provide permanent hospice/sanctuary to dogs and cats that are non-adoptable.

Emergency Rescue and Rehabilitation

Most cost intensive part of our work that often requires quick funding to provide emergency medical care and rescue services. Our sanctuary does not use cages or chains. This is an important part of the process relieving their trauma-helping them heal and redevelop social instincts so they can be adopted. Priorities are major medical, good nutrition and rehabilitation.

Provides permant sanctuary for unadoptable dogs/cats . These animals are less desirable due to age, health issues/challenges or behavioral issues. Kenos provides lifetime care and safety for these animals.

Our educational outreach program. This includes our website and community awareness events. We address animal cruelty, feral breeding and the importance of spay/neuter for animal welfare and to offer solutions. Kenos Animal Sanctuary constantly learns the most up to date methods of healthcare for animals.
