THE DSSLC FAMILY ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS IMPRESSIONS BY PAYING RENT, UTILITIES, AND OPERATIONAL EXPENSES. IMPRESSIONS IS A RETAIL STORE OPERATED FOR THE BENEFIT OF RESIDENTS OF THE DENTON STATE SUPPORTED LIVING CENTER. THE RESIDENTS SELL CERAMIC CREATIONS THROUGH THE STORE. ALL PROCEEDS ARE ROUTED BACK TO THE STATE OF TEXAS THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF AGING AND DISABILITIES SERVICE. DSSLC FAMILY ASSOCIATION WAS ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT THE RESIDENTS, STAFF, AND FAMILIES OF RESIDENTS BY PROVIDING EDUCATION, VOLUNTEER HOURS, AND SUPPLIES SO THAT THE RESIDENTS CAN RECEIVE THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CARE POSSIBLE.
