Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Scholarship Program
Our changemakers from the local community work with local school teachers and administrators to identify girls who are at risk of dropping out of school despite promising academic potential. Our changemakers then contact the students and their families to offer the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Applications are reviewed by a committee, and scholarships are allocated based on financial need and academic achievement. Once scholarships are awarded, our changemakers on the ground serve as mentors to our scholars. There is regular follow up to track attendance and grades, so that our scholars are supported in achieving a high standard of performance. More recently, we have allocated college scholarships to scholars who have finished the high school program and requested assistance for pursuing more education.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to increase access to quality education through scholarships for girls.

Our strategy involves working with contractors on the ground to help identify schools and scholars who fit our criteria. We then evaluate scholarship applications and select beneficiaries based on needs and merits. Finally, we follow up with support through mentors and additional resources.
