What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Scholarship Program
Our team member from the local community works through local school teachers and administrators to identify girls who are at risk of dropping out of school despite promising academic potential. Our team member than contacts the students and their family to offer the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Applications are reviewed by our team, and scholarships are allocated based on financial need and academic achievement. Once scholarships are awarded, our team member on the ground serves as a mentor to our scholars. We regularly follow up and track attendance and grades, so that our scholars are held to a high standard of performance. More recently, we have been allocating college scholarships to scholars who have finished the high school program and requested assistance for pursuing more education.
