BenitoLink fills a media gap, providing hyperlocal news and information about our multiple communities. With one click, viewers can read articles in Korean, Portuguese, or Spanish. BenitoLink operated under the Community Foundation from January 2013 to December 2015 and launched as an independent 501(c)(3) in January 2016.

BenitoLink is committed to increasing the level and quality of engagement in San Benito County communities by township, cultural grouping (e.g., urban, ag) and ethnicity. To deepen BenitoLink’s connection to Latinos who make up 60% of the county’s residents, we recruit and mentor college-age youth with aspirations for careers in journalism and media industries. Interns work as reporters, graphic designers, photographers, and web developers.
