Sibling Meetups

Meetups for siblings of individuals with disabilities. We touch on each of our objectives in the meetups - inform, support, advocate and empower. First and foremost they are an opportunity for Sibs to connect with each other. We also provide guest speakers, create advocacy opportunities, and share success stories.

"Intro to Sibs" is a 4 hour session that delves deeper into how being a Sib plays into adult life, and provides an action planning section to join Sibs with their community. "Understanding Sibs" is an all day workshop that uses a hands-on approach for Sibs to diving deeper into identifying the impacts of being a Sib in the participant's life and making an action plan for taking greater control.
