KINCORE INCORPORATED
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
In 2015 KinCore.org was formed to champion ancestry DNA discovery involvement for minority groups, adoptees, college students, and any other persons or groups wanting access and involvement in the important ancestry DNA testing and discovery process.
We secure, distribute and promote ancestry discovery tools and services that include ancestry DNA tests. By offering ancestry DNA testing and support services to American communities, we have a unique opportunity to tell the story of our evolution, interconnections, migrations, and settlement patterns to ultimately strengthen community ties by inspiring dialogue, mutual understanding, and tolerance.
As we build DNA participation, we can remove self-imposed racial divisions imposed by humanity as tests revelations show blended families as conventional. Together we will have a direct and positive impact on our global community and our global society.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
In 2015 KinCore.org was formed to champion ancestry DNA discovery involvement for minority groups, adoptees, college students, and any other persons or groups wanting access and involvement in the important ancestry DNA testing and discovery process.
According to Nature 2016 together, individuals of African and Latin American ancestry, Hispanic people and native or indigenous peoples represent less than 4% of all samples analyzed. Collectively, these are the most vulnerable and traditionally underserved populations in many of the world's richest nations.
Additionally, the remnants of the African slave trade means many African Americans were separated from their families, having little or no connection to their ancestral homeland and family bloodlines. Ancestry discovery will reconnect these severed family lines.
According to The National Human Genome Research Institute (“NIH") “Genetic tests may be used to identify increased risks of health problems, to choose treatments, or to assess responses to treatments." This pro-active focus on health is yet another reason why genetic testing has become imperative in today's society.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
KinCore.org was formed to secure, distribute and promote ancestry discovery tools and services that include ancestry DNA.
To accomplish our organizational goals, we seek support to::
• Provide a minimum of 100 ancestry DNA tests per year; and
• Host monthly web-based informational and genealogy podcasts and webinars at $12,000/year.
KinCore.org is not a testing laboratory. We have partnered with established and thoroughly vetted DNA laboratories to manage and process ancestry test results for over 4,000 KinCore members requesting ancestry DNA discovery services.
Our participants will receive:
• mtDNA (maternal): Female line over 25+ generations;
• Y-DNA (paternal): Male line over 23+ generations; and
• Autosomal DNA (maternal and paternal): Close relations of 5-6 generations.
By receiving the full spectrum of DNA tests to accelerate the ancestry discovery cycle and link all ancestral lines from the past to the present. This powerful combination of DNA discovery gives our participants the full spectrum of ancestral lineage information and they will require no additional ancestry testing.
Included with these important ancestry services are automatic notifications of any new family matches from shared DNA. These updates are posted to the participants' individual online account managed exclusively by the ancestry testing company. Lifetime updates include details such as relatedness percentages and ethnic calculations. With mutual consent, “new family" contact email information is made available.
In addition, the KinCore.org's Family Discovery Program offers post-testing follow up support to assist with newfound family introductions, podcasts moderated by genealogy experts, and informational webinars with titles such as: “I've Tested, Now What Should I DO"?
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
KinCore.org is not a testing laboratory. We have partnered with established and thoroughly vetted DNA laboratories Dynamic DNA Labs, and MyHeritage to manage and process ancestry tests and results for over 6,000 KinCore members requesting ancestry DNA discovery services.
