Mission

"To promote the growth and prosperity of the town of Ossipee and its vicinity." We believe that no one should go hungry. Part of our mission is to support seniors' independence and well-being through programs that improve their health and quality of life. This way, no one is left hungry or isolated. OCC promotes the health & welfare of the residents of Ossipee and the surrounding vicinity since 1975. We also focus on the youth in our licensed daycare. Providing support for toddlers, preschool, kindergarten, before/after school children, and a summer camp program.

Elderly Nutrition

The nutrition program for seniors 60 years old and the disabled, serves weekly congregate meals at two sites OCC (Monday – Friday) and at the Moultonborough Lions Club (Monday – Thursday). In addition, OCC prepares and delivers meals to residents in Ossipee, Effingham, Freedom, Wakefield, and Tamworth. The Moultonborough site prepares and delivers meals to residents of Moultonborough and Sandwich. Volunteer drivers deliver the majority of the home-delivered meals.

The senior center offers health and wellness programming for all seniors regardless of residency, meals seven days a week (including congregate meals Monday through Friday, shelf-stable and frozen meals for the weekends, holidays, and inclement weather).
