Mission

The Center for New Beginnings (CFNB) is a non-profit center serving children and adolescents with special needs (behavioral, educational, emotional, intellectual, physical), as well as their families and caregivers in the rural counties south of Augusta (Burke, Jenkins, Screven, Emmanuel, Jefferson, Richmond and Columbia). It is our mission to offer healing and hope to families in need through the provision of resources, services, and support to meet the challenges they are facing.

Bridge Builders- Behavioral Therapy

Bridge Builders covers our Intensive Intervention Training and ABA therapy program for those with autism or developmental delays in both the one-to-one and small group formats. Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis on Verbal Behavior (ABA/VB) is based on research to address functional skills, such as language/communication, self-help skills, play skills, social skills, and complying with instruction.

Center for New Beginnings provides resources to help children work through behavioral and learning barriers to achieve educational success and set them up with the skills to lead a productive adulthood. We provide therapy for children with developmental delays, such as autism and processing disorders to overcome obstacles that prevent them from learning in a traditional manner in school.

We provide education, counseling and behavioral therapies for children and families.
