SEASONAL PARTIES FOR 50-70 MILITARY FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER AND RECEIVING TREATMENT. THERE WAS A CHRISTMAS, A THANKSGIVING PARTY AND A PICNIC.

FREE DISTRIBUTION OF LEUKEMIA & YOU BOOKS TO AFFECTED FAMILIES. PRODUCE A QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER TO AFFECTED FAMILIES (The newsletter is emailed).

We provide families with care bags, toys, and fund the bead program. Care bags are full of items the family may have forgotten to pack or did not pack due to the stress of diagnosis. We fill a toy chest in the clinic for the kids to who have to endure procedures during visits. We have a bead program for kids to mark their journey during treatment.

We offer a one time grant to families who have to travel to another hospital for a bone marrow transplant to help offset costs incurred at that hospital.

We offer a one time grant to cover the initial fees for male patients to have their sperm preserved prior to starting cancer treatment.
