The vision of the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious is: to be a collaborative body of life-bearing women religious committed to the 'full flowering' of religious life in the United States by placing its collective feminine genius at the service of the Church and one another. Domus House of Studies

The Domus Sanctae Mariae Guadalupe in Rome, Italy is a residence and house of studies for sisters of CMSWR member communities. It provides a rich opportunity for study in the heart of the Church at Rome’s major universities, while preserving the communal life and prayer of the sisters. Participants return to their respective communities intellectually and spiritually enriched.

Population(s) Served

A course for Spanish speaking religious, “Esposas di Christo: Hijas de la Iglesias”, was offered in the July 2015 in response to the Church’s call to evangelization with emphasis on developing educational opportunities to better serve immigrant populations in the United States. This course engaged women religious in prayerful theological study in preparation for service to our immigrant brothers and sisters.

Population(s) Served

The Formators’ Workshop provides a forum for vocation and formation directresses of member communities to dialogue and learn from one another. Presentations by speakers also offer the sisters a chance to gain new insights and pose questions relevant to the formative process of religious life.
