Mission

To develop and promote an innovative and viable Crime Solvers program that assists law enforcement and serves and supports our entire community now and in the future in an effort to solve crimes and keep the community safe.Crime Solvers is a nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer, civilian board of directors that provides Chesterfield County and Colonial Heights with a tip program to assist law enforcement in solving crimes. We strive to support these police departments in their crime solving activities by enabling a system that allows for any citizen to provide crime related information in an anonymous fashion while at the same time possibly earning a cash reward. Specifically, the Board fosters relationships with the media, local businesses and the general public to raise awareness of our program in the community and to raise the necessary funds for support of the program.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

FUND RAISING In our fund raising efforts, we have an annual Bowling Tournament scheduled at Uptown Alley for October 11, 2014 and an annual Golf Tournament in April of each year. Additionally, please see the comments below concerning our middle and high school scholastic program. SCHOLASTIC CLUBSOne of the greatest opportunities is the fact that there are 32,000 middle and high school students in Chesterfield County and Colonial Heights. These students are educated in 13 middle schools and 12 high schools. To date, we have only been able to reach and establish Crime Solvers clubs in 8 middle and 4 high schools. We would like to be able to expand the program significantly.
