ROANOKE, VA   |  https://www.blueridgeliteracy.org/

Mission

Since 1985, Blue Ridge Literacy (BRL) has led nonprofit organizations to offer year-round literacy services to adults in the Roanoke Valley. Blue Ridge Literacy's mission is to help adult learners achieve their life goals through literacy skills. We do this by offering English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Programs, Citizenship Preparation Classes, and One-on-One literacy tutoring for foreign-born and native-speaking adults in Southwest Virginia. BRL's service area covers the Cities of Roanoke and Salem as well as counties of Roanoke, Botetourt, Franklin, Alleghany, and Craig.
