We provide safe, affordable, quality homes in the City of Richmond, Chesterfield County, and Henrico County. SCDHC is the largest single-family non-profit housing developer in the Richmond MSA and makes its homes available to low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyers.

SCDHC provides housing counseling services in Central Virginia the following areas: Foreclosure Intervention Counseling, Homebuyer Pre-purchase Counseling, Homebuyer Education Workshops (6-hour class), Homebuyer Club (11-month class), Virginia Individual Development Account (VIDA Match Saving Program)

The Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) offers financial and employment services in Central Virginia including budget and credit counseling, employment training and placement, benefits counseling, emergency rent assistance, and digital literacy training.
