Mission

With the town of Stephens City as its focus, the Stone House Foundation seeks to interest and engage residents, visitors, scholars, and students in the events, life-ways, and material culture of the region. The Foundation also strives to promote the preservation of the buildings, artifacts, and landscapes that are associated with the history of the Town of Stephens City.

Newtown Heritage Festival

Stephens City holds the annual Newtown Heritage Festival on the Saturday before Memorial Day. We participate by opening all of our exhibits free of admission charges that day. Each year during the Heritage Festival we unveil new exhibits and introduce new objects in existing exhibits.
