What we aim to solve
Hanover Community Support Services provides emergency financial support to citizens with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and substance use disorder in Hanover County, Virginia.
These citizens face unique challenges with finding employment to pay for their basic needs. HCSS goes through a vetting process with its partner county government agency, Hanover Community Services Board, to give temporary financial help when these citizens face a desperate situation, such as paying for heat and electricity.
