Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We want to expand financial assistance for utilities and restart our funding for rental assistance and the purchase of prescription drugs. We also need to refurbish some of working spaces.

Begin targeted fund raising for specific projects, and increase grant submissions.

As of April, the IRS re designated Downtown Churches United, Inc. as a Public Charity, which will allow us to seek broader areas of funding. We also will capitalize on a tremendous base of untapped goodwill towards our organization within the community we serve.

We are currently in transition. We have been operating at more of a survival level for the past couple of years as we've clarified our mission and sought the personnel to bring our hopes to fruition. With the people we have in place, we are poised to launch into a high level of service.
