What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Biblical Training
Mission Link International host village schools in Uganda for the purpose of training pastors and church leaders in the area of leadership and biblical knowledge (discipleship).
Widows of Africa
Mission Link International's (MLI) main focus is to educate (spiritually) and to assist widows with personal needs. The mission has raised monthly support for many widows, and helped with sustainable projects (piggery, chickens, etc. ). We have also given medical aid, clothing, mattresses, seeds, stoves, and water filters to address some of their daily concerns. Starting in 2022, we began a project to provide low-cost homes for widows in our care that are homeless. These homes are constructed of either brick or earthbags, depending on the location and supply logistics.
Multi-Missions
One of our major goals is to be the "link" for donors who want to assist with a project helping Africans in need. Contributors will assist with supplies, volunteerism or monetary needs. For example:
1) MLI hosts up to 3 teams a year. Each February a medical team travels to Uganda, East Africa to treat thousands of Africans, making available donated drugs valued in the ten's of thousands. During this time, villages are treated, given drugs/glasses and encouraged in MLI's counseling centers. There are times when churches are planted and established. On occasions, donors will support major operations that cannot be accomplished by our mission teams, like drilling new water wells to provide clean water sources.
2) Over the years MLI has built houses, churches, and schools.
3) Linked with national ministries to be the channel for delivering support from that ministry's donors. For example, MLI is the official "LINK" for a ministry serving in the Korogocho Slum, in Nairobi, East Africa.
