Mission: We empower under resourced K-12 youth for life opportunities. Vision: It is our vision that all children who have been left behind by our community are lifted up to achieve their potential. Believing that no child should be abandoned by our community, we strive to empower the families of our children and collaborate with schools and other local resources to their benefit. Values: Our core values include trust, mutual respect, responsibility, compassion, and patience in a non-judgmental, participatory environment that embraces diversity. Our goal is to provide programs that promote academic and personal achievement and address the needs of our youth and their families.

Out-of-school program
The major program segments are K-1st grade daily after-school program; 2nd-3rd grade daily after-school program; 4th-5th grade daily after-school program; middle school daily after-school program; high school internship program; family support program; and summer camp.
Pride for Parents Christmas Store
Pride for Parents Christmas Store is a better way to assist our neighbors who do not have the resources to provide toys for their kids at Christmas. Rather than a “handout” like the typical Angel Tree approach, or community give-away events, Pride for Parents offers a “hand UP,” allowing families to make their own gift selections, have pride in paying for the gifts they select, and enjoy the love, fellowship, and community of our volunteers!
How is this possible? Our donors and our organization provide new (and a few gently used) toys to our “pop-up” Christmas Store. We sell those items to eligible families at 25-30% of retail – prices that these families can afford! And if even those low prices are too much for the family, we offer opportunities to volunteer in our store and earn credit to shop for gifts.
As part of the shopping experience, we also provide gift wrapping services, a pleasant atmosphere with Christmas music, free books and refreshments, and useful family items.
