What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Supportive Housing and Mentoring

FamilyForward, formerly Faith Community Homes, offers a two-year program to assist low income, working families in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The program consists of two primary elements: financial assistance for rent, and case management/mentoring to help families budget and manage their resources, make realistic plans for the future, increase their incomes, and achieve financial stability. We empower parents by teaching solid financial principles and crucial career-advancement and life skills. With targeted coaching from professional case managers and trained volunteer mentors, program participants work toward defined goals, transforming lives, one family at a time.
