Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Develop the ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY to make Indy Shakes successful in fulfilling its mission.

Expand NUMBER OF PERFORMANCES offered each season while maintaining the diverse audience mix and festival atmosphere Indy Shakes is renowned for.

Develop new MARKETING INITIATIVES to expand community awareness and grow audience.

Expand all SOURCES OF REVENUE to enhance sustainability.

Build the board’s ability to govern the organization. Recruit new expertise to the board.

Develop opportunities for young actors and theater artists to develop their craft.

Expand the number of performances through controlled growth:
• Implement an education and community outreach program (initiated in 2018).
• Offer an additional weekend of three performances in 2019
• If demand supports continued growth, offer two plays annually by 2020, each with six performances over two weekends.

Secure a new home theatre that will enable flexibility of scheduling that is essential for growth (expected completion in 2020.).

90% of our 2017-2020 strategic plan goals are already underway, and several have exceeded our expectations.
