Learning Together

Necessity is the mother of invention. In the nonprofit world, this often means that organizations grow out of the simplest of seeds: someone sees a need, and rolls up his or her sleeves up to meet it.

But identifying needs and having a desire to address them and affect change does not always mean you know what you’re doing, or what you’ve gotten in to when you dig in.

That’s where Together SC comes in.

As the state’s premier nonprofit resource, we offer a knowledge network that’s bar none. If you are a start-up charitable organization, or if you’ve been around for decades and simply want to continue to improve, we offer guidelines, how-to’s, seminars and workshops on professional development, board development, nonprofit management and governance.

We are here to help you expand your knowledge base, so South Carolina’s nonprofits can become the most effective organizations possible.

Through our conferences, publications, communications and advocacy we seek to bring together the wisdom and wealth of expertise in this state’s impressive nonprofit sector. Collaboration enables us to learn from and with each other, and speak with one strong voice on legislative and policy issues that affect all of us.

We aim to create regional and statewide partnerships to further strengthen the sense of support and collegiality in our nonprofit community.

We are only as strong as our members. And never stronger than when we collaborate effectively.

Population(s) Served

Together SC pledges to be a proactive advocacy partner for the state’s nonprofit sector. We will focus on relevant legislative issues which impact our members, and we will communicate the status of key legislation and policy issues with you.

We will be a powerful and unified voice for the nonprofit community to influence government policies so we can realize our vision of a better future for all South Carolinians. We will be made strong by our collaboration as we advocate for the best interests of those who work for the good of our communities.
