Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Children's Home
We run a private, Christian school in an impoverished barrio outside of Tegucigalpa. The school offers grades Pre-K through 6th grade for approximately 200 students. In addition, we offer a daycare program for approximately 50 children.
Alonzo Movement
The Alonzo Movement is a youth program located in an impoverished, gang and drug ridden inner city barrio. The program provides an alternative to drugs, gangs and violence. The youth are formed into groups that meet weekly. They form a small community and learn to care for each other. We offer life skills, Christian formation, education and vocational training opportunities, service projects, and recreation.
God's Littlest LAMB's Day Care & School
God’s Littlest Lambs School provides excellence in education (K-grade 8) for children whose families struggle to meet the most basic of needs. The daycare nurtures babies and toddlers in a loving and safe environment, giving their working moms peace of mind while they provide for their families.
New Life Antitrafficking Programs (Safehouse & Prevention Program)
The Safe House was opened in October 2010 after much prayer and struggle. The goal of the ministry is to rescue teenage girls who have been trafficked for sex and to restore them both physically and spiritually.
Microcredit
The program was designed using the principles of the Grameen Bank, which uses a group based approach where group members are accountable for and to each other. The program started with 5 women and $100.
Holistic Community Development
The program was designed using the principles of the Grameen Bank, which uses a group based approach where group members are accountable for and to each other. The program started with 5 women and $100.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Founded in 1990, by Suzy McCall, LAMB has as its mission to reach out with the love of Jesus to those most in need in Honduras. LAMB partners with Hondurans to transform lives, educating and spiritually empowering those suffering extreme poverty, neglect, and exploitation.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
LAMB's approach to the hopelessness, abuse, neglect and injustice that cripples the poorest of the poor in Honduras is the development of transforming relationships empowered by the love of Christ. These relationships give form and direction to the four primary areas of ministry through which LAMB accomplishes its purposes:
1. God's Littlest Lambs Children's Home – providing care and hope to children whose young lives have been marred by abandonment, abuse and neglect.
2. God's Littlest Lambs Daycare and School – providing high quality education in a Christian environment to children whose families struggle to meet the most basic of needs.
3. Alonzo Movement – providing alternatives for youth at high risk for gang involvement in one of the poorest neighborhoods of Honduras' capital city.
4. New Life New Life Anti-trafficking Program – comprised of a 2-pronged approach to addressing the human trafficking crisis. Our Safehouse ministers to young girls who have been rescued from the horrors of human trafficking and our Prevention Programs works within schools and churches to educate children about the dangers of human trafficking.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
LAMB (HN) works to accomplish its mission of sharing the hope found in Christ Jesus as they care for, educate, protect, and empower those suffering extreme poverty, abuse, and exploitation in Honduras. LAMB (US) acts in partnership with LAMB (HN) by praying with and for them, by providing financial resources and oversight, and by extending opportunities for church and individuals to join in this work.
Recognizing the unique gifts and needs of each child, each individual impacted by our work, we seek to love and encourage each to their fullest potential using a unique approach for each person, not a one-size-fits-all formula. The knowledgeable Honduran staff create relationships with in the communities and families where they work that allows them to identify causes of problems and develop strategies to effectively address them.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
In the 19 years since LAMB was founded, lives and communities have been changed and strengthened. Children who once had no hope of education are now high school graduates studying at university. Girls who once endured the horrors of human trafficking are now experiencing the joy and dignity of working in skilled jobs as hair stylists and bakers. Communities fragmented by gangs, fear and poverty, people drawn together in hope and courage, standing together in the hope brought when the love of Jesus touches lives.
