What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Achor provides housing and supportive services to homeless women with children, single women with disabilities, senior women, and grandmothers raising grandchildren. Achor provides affordable housing with participants paying only 30% of their monthly income toward rent. Achor offers numerous supportive services to its participants. Among them are the Job Development Program, the Medical Career Training Program, Counseling Services, Transportation Assistance, Dress for Success, GED Tutoring and Testing, Financial Management and Budgeting, Stress Management, Life Skills and Parenting. Counseling Services Counseling Services are provided to individuals, groups, families, and support groups. Counseling Services embodies case management meetings, community council workshops, housing support and parenting groups.
