Sidewalk to the Sea: Connecting Kids to the Coastal

Sidewalk to the Sea provides opportunities for students in Chatham County's Title I elementary schools to participate in structured, marine science-based field activities using the resources of the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. The program introduces students to their coastal and offshore environments, enhances classroom science, and cross disciplinary learning, and supplements the instruction students receive to prepare them for standardized testing.
