Mission
The Georgia Soccer Development Foundation is a 501(C)(3) community based organization that serves many in the community in general and “at risk” youth in particular by integrating the game of soccer and other team sports on the field of play and with education in the classrom. Our intention is to work with all of the constituencies that use the park to focus on individual development and the appreciation of the park and its place in the community.

What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
The Georgia Soccer Foundation's major operating programs include field development grants, community service based college scholarship awards, and player development for both males and females at all levels of play from recreational to Olympic Development. We educate civic leaders on the social and financial benefits youth soccer offers. We empower grassroots volunteers by creating partnerships that provide resources that support their initiatives. We excite corporate leaders and philanthropic entities by making them aware of the benefits derived from their personal involvement. We encourage our youth by recognizing a youth culture that values sportsmanship, academic achievement and "giving back" through community service. We evaluate, give aid and solicit input on the current needs of the community, and provide solutions through the generosity of our donors. We coach grant seekers with grant applications, educational seminars, informative newsletters, website, and scheduled consultations.
