Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
ONIC provides affordable, quality, safe rental housing in a supportive living environment. ONIC delivers an array of resident programs, services, and activities designed to enrich and improve the resident’s lives. It is intended that these will lead to improvement and higher achievement in education, jobs, social interaction, and citizenship.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
ONIC’s strategies are rather straightforward. It owns the housing where the clients live and provides the programs and associated support at these communities; i.e., where they live. In other words, residents do not have to find the services, travel to their locations, and fit them into their schedules. ONIC designs its programs to meet the residents circumstances.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
ONIC has a highly-skilled, award-winning staff that is proficient in housing development and operation, and in designing and administering social services. ONIC also partners with many service providers to deliver the programs. ONIC’s board also covers a wide range of expertise, community connections, and affinity with the people ONIC serves.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
ONIC has a 34-year track record of providing service-enriched housing to thousands of residents.
