Advocacy for Trapping Reform

TFMPL attends and actively participates in Montana Fish & Wildlife Commission meetings related to annual trapping proposals.
TFMPL advocates for trapping reform by helping design legislative bills.
TFMPL provides testimony before Montana legislators concerning trapping bills.
TFMPL conducts outreach to coordinate science based wildlife management and trapping reform.
TFMPL has a Trap Free Montana Public Lands facebook page, instagram, a twitter account, and emails interested parties -news to educate the public about the truths in trapping and keep them updated on how to help.
TFMPL provides trap alerts, trapped pet release instructions, and utilizes billboards to increase public awareness.
We partner our efforts with our 501(c)(3) charitable educational affiliate, Trap Free Montana.
