Programs and results
What we aim to solve
We want to help create an economy that enables everyone to have basic access to economic security and to fulfill their creative potential. We want to help create a shift in power to people and communities so they can better meet their social and economic needs. And we want to help create a world where everyone receives a generous education so they can take part more fully in economic, social, cultural and intellectual life.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
US Fellowship
The RSA US functions as a distributed think/do tank in large part due to the actions of our 1,000 Fellows who lead work across the country on important elements of social change. We are proudly set up on open distributed organizational principles that seek to maximize opportunities for our Fellows to self-organize through public convenings, virtual events and salons, project support and networking, and collaborative research.
Partners in Change
We partner with key regions and organizations in the U.S. to support the acceleration of approaches to tackling regional inequality, pioneering inclusive growth and equity, supporting lifelong learning and creativity in education, and stewarding heritage and deliberative democracy.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are a community of proactive problem solvers, sharing powerful ideas, carrying out cutting-edge research and building networks and opportunities for people to collaborate, influence and demonstrate practical solutions to realize change. We work to support and architect coalitions for change at both national and regional levels to drive impact on issues related to economic security, lifelong learning, inclusive growth, energy transition, criminal justice reform, and deliberative democracy, amongst other things.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We bring attention to compelling ideas through our research and think tank arm and then support the growth of networks that can help to operationalize innovative policies and solutions. Our research and ideas platform spotlights innovative solutions for driving impact and our network helps to make those ideas a reality through working to embed enlightened policies and practices in public and private sector practice.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have a dual skill-set as both a network building institution and in cutting-edge public policy research. This helps us to diagnose societal problems and then mobilize the right networks to design appropriate interventions.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We continue to work on inclusive growth and recently published a new report, Inclusive Growth in Action, setting out eight case studies of innovative practices from around the world. We have looked to showcase initiatives where inclusive growth has moved beyond rhetoric and strategy to transformational change on the ground.
