SCHOLARSHIPS, GRANTS, & LOANS - FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-2023, 107 STUDENTS RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIPS FROM UHC AND 70 STUDENTS RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIPS FROM PRIVATE SOURCES. MOST STUDENTS WERE AWARDED THE SCHOLARSHIPS ON THE BASIS OF ACADEMIC MERIT AND/OR UNMET FINANCIAL NEED. OTHERS WERE GRANTED AWARDS BASED ON ACADEMIC MERIT ONLY. A TOTAL OF 177 SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE AMOUNT OF $563,856 HAVE BEEN AWARDED ($395,984 FROM UHC SCHOLARSHIPS AND $167,872 FROM PRIVATE SOURCE SCHOLARSHIPS).FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023, 643 STUDENTS WERE ABLE TO RECEIVE SOME FORM OF FINANCIAL AID. MANY STUDENTS WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PURSUE A POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION WERE IT NOT FOR THE FINANCIAL AID PROGRAMS. THE UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN THE TITLE IV FEDERAL CAMPUS BASED PROGRAMS AS WELL AS THE FEDERAL PELL GRANT PROGRAM AND DISADVANTAGED NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS.- 251 STUDENTS WERE ASSISTED AND ABLE TO RECEIVE $1,208,263 IN PELL GRANTS.- 576 STUDENTS RECEIVED $6,981,548 IN FEDERAL SUBSIDIZED AND UNSUBSIDIZED STAFFORD LOANS.- 46 STUDENTS RECEIVED $79,043 IN FEDERAL S.E.O.G.- 20 STUDENTS RECEIVED $64,048 IN FEDERAL WORK-STUDY GRANTS.- 103 STUDENTS RECEIVED $572,808 FROM THE LOUISIANA T.O.P.S. PROGRAM.- 76 STUDENTS RECEIVED $126,491 FROM LOUISIANA G.O. GRANTS.- AN ADDITIONAL $390,007 IN STUDENT AID WAS FROM VARIOUS OTHER AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS, INCLUDING $118,682 OF FEDERAL EMERGENCY RELIEF FUNDING.UNIVERSITY OF HOLY CROSS WAS ABLE TO AWARD $9,986,064 IN STUDENT AID FROM INSTITUTIONAL, PRIVATE, STATE, AND FEDERAL SOURCES.

INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES - PER SEMESTER, APPROXIMATELY 1,434 STUDENTS WERE SERVICED IN APPROXIMATELY 422 SPECIFIC COURSES OF STUDY IN 38 DEGREE PROGRAMS. ADDITIONALLY, INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES WERE DELIVERED TO THE CIVIC COMMUNITY THROUGH EXTENT OUTREACH PROGRAMS.

STUDENT SERVICES ENCOMPASSES VARIOUS SERVICES:THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE PROVIDES PUBLICATIONS, COMPUTERIZED STUDENT RECORDS, AND OTHER ACADEMIC SERVICES TO PROSPECTIVE AND CURRENT STUDENTS.STUDENT SERVICES PROVIDES FUNDING FOR 5 PROFESSIONAL CLUBS.THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OFFERS A MULTI-FACETED ARENA OF SOCIAL EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT ON AND OFF CAMPUS FOR STUDENTS.THE DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS FUNDS A HOST OF INTRAMURAL SPORTS AT THE UNIVERSITY, WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL STUDENTS.THE SECURITY OFFICE OVERSEES THE SECURITY OF THE CAMPUS AND PARKING LOTS.THE HURRICANE CAFE PROVIDES FOOD SERVICES TO ALL STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF.STUDENT SERVICES ALSO INCLUDES TRAVEL, WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS IN ADDITION TO ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS, ADMISSIONS AND RECRUITING STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY.STUDENT SERVICES ALSO INCLUDES AN ON CAMPUS HEALTH OFFICE (PROVIDING ROUTINE HEALTH SERVICES AND FIRST AID), STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS FUNDING AND SUPPORT, STUDENT SPORTS SUPPORT FOR EQUIPMENT, ADMISSIONS AND RECRUITING STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY.
