The organization is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and security of the Tammany Trace, which is used by the general public the multi-purpose public path covers 31 miles going through Covington, Abita Springs, Mandeville, Lacombe & Slidell it is utilized by the general public for walking, skating, bicycle riding, horseback riding many people with various handicaps also make use of the paved pathway funds are raised through dues, sale of miscellaneous items

The foundation serves as the main fundraising support for camp salmen nature park camp salmen will encourage appreciation of Louisiana landscapes and will promote a conservation ethic through the preservation of natural habitats camp salmen includes nearly 130 acres of property in Southeastern Louisiana this project Will Foster educational, cultural, and recreational activities to Louisiana residents and visitors
