Civil Legal Aid to Low-Income Iowans

Every year, thousands of individuals and families contact Iowa Legal Aid in despair, knowing that they are their last hope. Iowa Legal Aid assists mothers and children who are victimized by an abusive spouse or partner, intervenes when low-income families face unfair evictions from their homes, and assists returning veterans who are wrongly denied benefits. Those are only some of the ways Iowa Legal Aid makes an impact in the lives of Iowans every day.
